The WHF145 Winton 1.45m Flail Mower features robust hammer flails and a durable gearbox, making it ideal for handling tough grass and weeds. The cylindrical rotor is fitted with multiple hammer-style blades arranged in a spiral pattern, producing finer clippings. This design is particularly advantageous on uneven ground compared to traditional rotary and topper mowers. The flail mower operates via a belt-driven system, utilizing three drive belts to power the blade rotor shaft.

An adjustable rear roller can be raised or lowered using the tractor's top link arm, allowing for tailored cutting heights and finishes. The rear roller minimizes scalping on uneven terrain, ensuring a consistent cut. Additionally, two height-adjustable skids offer further options for cutting height adjustments, giving an even cut while reducing scalping.
