Winton WTM160 1.6m Heavy Duty Tractor PTO Topper Mower

The WTM160 Winton Topper Mower is designed to handle overgrown pastures and fields, cutting through grasses, brambles, light scrub, and young saplings. This topper is perfect for smallholdings with grazing animals such as horses, sheep, and alpacas, clearing dense vegetation without damaging the land.

The mower has a rotary cutting system featuring two blades, one at each end of the blade carrier. This design enhances the 'topping' action, creating longer cuttings that accumulate in windrows along the skids.

Toppers are popular for their simple design and efficient operation. The direct drive blade carrier uses less power than traditional belt-driven mowers, reducing energy consumption and maintenance. Routine upkeep includes checking the gearbox oil level, inspecting the blades for damage, and regularly greasing the PTO shaft to keep the mower running smoothly.

The skids are fully adjustable, allowing for flexible cutting height. Adjustments can be made easily by unbolting the side skids. Additionally, the mower is equipped with a stone guard for added safety during operation.
