The WVF130 Winton 1.3m Verge Flail Mower is an excellent solution for managing overgrown landscapes. This mower features hydraulic offset capabilities, allowing it to be positioned to the side and angled for better access to difficult areas. It requires two double-acting spools to control the four hoses, which manage the cutting head's horizontal movement and vertical tilt. This design makes the mower particularly effective for trimming around trees when used in a horizontal position. When adjusted to tilt either up or down, the flail can efficiently cut slopes on verges or ditches. Additionally, it can be configured for vertical cutting along the sides of lower hedgerows. The WVF verge flail is specifically designed with a left-hand offset for UK verges.

This verge mower has robust hammer flails and a durable gearbox, for cutting through tougher grass and weeds. It can also be utilized when grass and weeds are at a more manageable height, providing a fine finish when maintained regularly. The cylindrical rotor features several hammer-style blades arranged in a spiral pattern, producing finer clippings. This design is particularly advantageous for uneven terrain compared to traditional rotary and topper mowers. The mower operates via a belt-driven system, utilizing three drive belts to power the blade rotor shaft.
